Parcels thru the mail!
But I’m pretty happy. Getting parcels thru the mail is truly a wonderful feeling... I don’t get them very often but when I do, I’m really happy. Thanks ng-neechan! *hugz*

MOE Briefing
Heh. It seems that everyone and their mothers are going to teach. Met Terr para para toh there. Haha... it has been ages since I last seen that bugger. =P I knew he was bonded! But I just didn’t expect it to be with MOE. Even charles is going to teach! Shocku! Correction: I think Charles is already teaching at a school, teaching PE and English. *Double Shocku*
But I think they’ll gonna be very popular with the girls. =_= well maybe charles will be popular with the guys lah. But terr definitely will be popular among the girls. Sigh... hard to believe it’s been 4 years since I knew these guys. Terr even said he still has the video we shot for the stupid JS project in our first semester. Projects were fun back then. T_T

my eyes are like this...=_=
Swing Girls is a really hilarious movie! The guy who directed “Waterboys” is also the director for “Swing Girls” I highly recommend it! It’s about a group of girls (and a boy) who wanted to form a jazz band. Big band jazz to be precise. The music’s real cool and the movie really has its moments. Ra says she rates movies by their prices…haha….using the same scale in my opinion, $8.50 is the price for the movie! Even if you watched it on a weekend, you won’t regret it. But I shouldn’t hyped it up too much! I guess why we enjoyed the show so much was coz a group of people in high school uniforms suddenly went up to the front of the cinema to dance when the “Swing Girls” was performing. It was so funny, they just stood up and went up to the front to dance. One couple even went to the back of the cinema coz there were no more space in front. Heh. At first we thought they were spontaneous Japanese high school kids out on a lark. But they turned out to be Cos-players. Haha…but still, the atmosphere in the cinema was great!
Oh, one more thing…
My mood’s not the greatest this past week and I’m not feeling very good recently also. Please pardon my mood swings. I know I shouldn’t take it out on you, but sometimes I just can’t help it. If I appeared surly or snapped at you or suddenly just clammed up without reason, then I’m really sorry. If there’s a reason behind it, then perhaps you should reflect upon it. =_= Perhaps I really should take a step back and look at matters from a larger perspective. It’ll really clear up my mind and perhaps my mood will take a turn for the better! =)

my new bookshelf!

Dot built me a bookshelf. Not bad for a first timer ya. I remember my eyes went @_@ when she told me she bought the wood to build a bookshelf for me. =P Well...I wasn't really expecting alot... haha...but this really exceeds my expectations. I'm honestly touched though I DON'T view the transportation and cleaning process with anticipation. =_=
Hmmm... I don't think it's gonna fit all my books and mangas... perhaps it's time to clear up my room a little. =P

Fucking BT
Oh, bout what I said in the earlier post about skinning the perpetuators if it was my younger brother whom they tortured and killed, I take that back. That little bugger can fight his own battles from now on. The two fucking torrents he’s running are part of the reason my stupid H2 BT is at 0kb/s now. I so want to SMACK him! That idiot!
Oooh…it’s at 92% now! At this rate, I’ll be able to watch my episode sometime before noon tomorrow…now why can’t I feel happy about it? Grrrrrrr……
Grrrr......
There’s this new movie coming out soon called “The Woodsman”, starring Kevin Bacon. It’s about a pedophile who returns to his hometown after 12 years in prison and attempts to start a new life. I think this movie’s going to be interesting to say the least. Kevin Bacon’s one of my all-time favorites too. =P
Besides the cases of the pedophiles, there’s the child murderers to consider. Can we condone them their crimes merely because they are kids? What a worthless excuse! The case of Mary Bell came up. She tortured and killed 2 young boys, I think aged 3 and 4 respectively when she was 10. Is this scary or what? In 2003, the courts granted her lifelong anonymity. Is this fucked up or what? Apparently, the courts wanted to protect the killer and her teenage daughter from vigilantes. I say let them have at her. What’s worse is that she sold her story for money!!!! Can you all believe that? I can’t take that she snuffed out two young lives just for fun and now she’s living a good life with her daughter with the money she made from selling her story bout how and why she killed those boys... or rather toddlers.
Isn't it disgusting? She doesn't even know the kid... he's just a kid from one of the houses in the neighbourhood. WTF!“Brian was found covered with grass and purple weeds. He had been strangled.
Nearby, a pair of broken scissors lay in the grass. There were puncture marks on
his thighs, and his genitals had been partially skinned. Clumps of his hair were
cut away.”
It’s the same with the case of the 2 bastards who tortured and killed the small boy at some railway track some years ago. James Bulger I believe his name was. Cute kid who died because of some vicious punkasses… The courts granted them anonymity too. Spent millions of dollars in fact trying to hide their identity and creating new identities for them each time the press found them out. Grrrrrrrr…..those kids are pure evil. They ought to have been snuffed out! =_= man…some of the things I read about the case still gives me the shivers! And I’m filled with this rage, this unquenchable rage that made me understand why the vigilantes do the things they do. I shudder to imagine if it was my brother who was taken out, tortured and murdered just for the fun of it. Hell! I’ll skin the bastards who did it!
I’ll have to admit that I’m a very judgmental person. Don’t give me all that crap about forgiveness cause I don’t buy it. I believe you are fundamentally responsible for your actions. I believe you should PAY for what you do. No ifs, no buts, no excuses, no fucking bullshit bout how she’s only a child!

^_^
The food’s nice and the price is cheap as well. My only grouse with the place is that it’s really too small…..and the hygiene level is not all that high. =P Oh! One more thing! I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they don’t have the 5% GST, 10% service charge that most places had. =) That’s in their favour!
Went shopping with J after dinner…it was a good trip!~ hehe….spent over a hundred bucks though. But it was money well spent! =)
Perhaps I’m really an impulse buyer. Thoroughly a victim of the “I want it and I want it now!” syndrome.

And I’m sick…down with flu. Worst thing about it is that I can’t taste my food now. When I eat chocolate, all I can taste is how sweet it is. Now all you chocolate lovers out there know that chocolates are more than just sweet ya? If I want sweet, I’d have gone to eat sugar instead. =_=
And I have no money left.
My life is sad.

Bogged down
Note: I haven’t actually gotten the offer yet. I’m just assuming that I get it. If I get it, I’ll be spared the anxieties and apprehension of searching for a job in the private sector.
But the private sector has its own advantages too. The nature of the work, the opportunities, the experiences, the pay… and unless I plan to stay a teacher for life, I guess I can’t escape the anxieties and apprehension that most everyone have to go through. Will i be able to give up the relatively high pay at MOE to start all over again in the private sect0r? I honestly don't know. Oh well, if MOE rejected me, I guess I’ll take a chance and try out the JET program in December. If they accepted me, I’ll have to try out for it 4 years down the road. =P
I feel like taking a trip. Getting away from the never-ending drudgery of schoolwork. But alas, it’s all wistful thinking. Can’t afford the time nor have the money to do anything bout the trip. J suggested that we go Taiwan. Think that’s a rather nice place to visit, since I haven’t been there before. Oh well, maybe in the May/June holidays I guess.... =)
